Introduction of DLC diamond-like carbon film

Diamond-like carbon films have the characteristics of high hardness, high wear resistance, high thermal conductivity and low friction coefficient, so they are widely used in surface improvement and lifting of various precision workpieces and components.

DLC films can make the surface of workpieces or products have special properties similar to or close to diamonds, thus improving the functional characteristics of workpieces.

There are many common methods for plating DLC films, including: Sputtering Deposition, Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition (PECVD), Ion Beam Assisted Deposition (IBAD), Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD), etc. .

We use Sputtering Deposition to make DLC film. In the roll-to-roll vacuum sputtering machine, the carbon atoms on the graphite target are sputtered on the substrate, and the DLC diamond-like carbon film is deposited on the surface.

An Example of Product : Copper Foil sputtered Graphite Thermal Film

Experiments have proven that Copper Foil sputtered Graphite Thermal Film can effectively reduce the temperature of the backlight module and increase the brightness of the LED by attaching extremely thin double-sided tape (10um/30um) to the copper foil side and then attaching it to the LED backlight module.

Besides, studies have pointed out that the diamond-like carbon film of DLC coating can relieve the interface stress of semiconductors and maintain stable brightness of LEDs, thereby reducing the problem of light attenuation.

Which is made of copper foil as the main base material, and a layer of nano-scale graphite is sputtered on one side to form an improved original copper foil Composite materials with thermal conductivity. After sputtering, the graphite surface has a smooth surface, good adhesion, and no powder falling. At the same time, additional functions such as material hardness and wear resistance have been improved. It can be used as a good electronic material or decorative coating, etc.
